Which website browsers do you support?
What’s a browser?
A browser is a piece of software on your computer that works as the ‘window’ you use to access the internet; many of us have a browser that we use all the time. If you have a PC, this is often Internet Explorer, though the browser you use is up to you.
We support the following browsers on our website and in the Member Area:
- Internet Explored 9 (or higher)
- Firefox 26 (or higher)
- Chrome 30 (or higher)
- Safari 6 (or higher)
If you’ve been told that you have an old or insecure version of a browser, it means that the version of your browser needs to be updated. Old versions can put your online transactions at risk of being intercepted or lost, so it’s really important to keep your browser up to date.
Below are some links to the latest versions of the most popular browsers, with some instructions on how to do this. If you’re a bit unsure, you might want to ask a web-savvy family member or friend to help.
Safari – for PC users Apple Mac users will have Safari installed as standard.
While we test all of our digital developments in all our supported browsers before releasing to members, sometimes bugs can occur. If you do come across any issues whilst using a supported browser please contact us so we can log the fault and fix it promptly.
