Availability terms & conditions
It is vital that all availability information is processed without delay to ensure that the availability calendar is always updated. Guests expect to hear back within 24 hours; to avoid losing the booking, the Owner should respond to the Guest within 24 hours.
It is the Owner’s responsibility to process any bookings and update availability in the Member area, provided by Sawday’s.
Wherever possible this should be done immediately after the Owner has taken a booking.
If for any reason an Owner does not have access to the internet or cannot access the Member Area due to technical issues:
Owner availability must still be confirmed as soon as possible by telephone (0117 284 2342) to Sawday’s during office hours (Monday to Friday, 9am to 5.30pm).
Sawday’s will then immediately block out that given time period. Outside office hours, Sawday’s will block out the booking at the earliest opportunity but cannot guarantee how quickly this will be done.
Owners who are synchronising availability with other 3rd party booking/calendar providers are responsible for ensuring that all 3rd party systems are kept up to date. Owners must select their ‘Primary’ system (i.e. the one they consider the ‘source of truth’ for availability). Sawday’s will assume the data from this Primary source is up to date in instances where Sawday’s need to refresh the data to resolve any mismatches. Owners will need to contact their 3rd party calendar provider in in the event of issues with this system.
For the avoidance of doubt, as it is the Owner’s responsibility to ensure the availability calendar is always updated, via the Member Area or via the synchronisation of 3rd party booking/calendar systems, in the event of a double booking, Sawday’s will not be responsible for any losses, costs or expenses incurred. In view of this, Owners need to update their availability as soon as possible.
Owners are also obliged to ensure that sensitive guest / customer information is not provided when blocking out a booking within the Sawday’s availability system.
